The conversation to have with your athlete this week

Parent Mindset3 min read

Five minutes. No phones. One honest question.

Pick a quiet moment — a drive, a walk, late at night — and ask one open question. Not about offers. Not about film. Something like: "What is the part of this you're actually enjoying right now?" Or: "What's one thing about this season that's been harder than you expected?" Listen. Don't fix. Don't pivot to advice. The point is the listening. These small, ordinary conversations are the recruiting infrastructure no platform can build for you. The kids who finish this journey well are usually the ones who felt heard along the way.
