A reminder for the weeks when the highlight reel feels like the whole story.
Film matters. It doesn't define the human being on it. Coaches recruit teammates, students, and young men — not just clips. The athlete who answers an email within a day, looks a coach in the eye on a visit, and carries themselves well in the locker room is recruitable in ways film alone never measures.
When the comparison game gets loud, remember: the kid you're raising is bigger than the position on the depth chart. The recruiting will resolve itself, one way or another. The person they're becoming is the long game.
